The view from the balcony and all the animals we spotted on-site including two skirts in the wild! Besides: very well priced if you get one of the many deals, good bed, stable WiFi, extensive breakfast, nice onsite tours and walking trails. The restaurant and the menu got updated and are now definitely better than a couple of years ago. Some staff are really great, special shoutout to Stevens and Gilberto from the restaurant!
Most staff members were great, others (some at the reception) were indifferent aiming for unfriendly. And in my room some lamps did not work and some furniture had small stains but hey, that's Tropichiq:).

I requested numerous times to speak with management and not one time did they respond or call or come to my room. I was charged for service animal and requested management to discuss as prior information not available. They refused to cancel my reservation to seek other hotel no fee for service animal. My husband was just discharged from hospital from stroke and additional charges for service animal was not addressed after I requested numerous times to be contacted

A lovely rainforest retreat with plenty to offer non-golfers.
Rainforest surroundings and trails great for birdwatching. Friendly and accommodating staff – there were several problems with the room, which were immediately fixed. Good buffet meals. Spacious comfortable rooms with great bathrooms and showers (tried two rooms).
The restaurant a-la-carte menu was very limited – everything fried and not enough veg and salad. The coffee/te-maker had to be replaced
